I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, where two passions shaped my life from a young age: combat sports and the science of human performance. What started as a way to channel my hyperactivity at 13 years old—something even medication couldn’t control—quickly became the turning point that defined my future.
Boxing taught me discipline, resilience, and how to face adversity head-on. It also exposed me to the reality many athletes face: demanding weight cuts, poor nutritional guidance, and the pressure to perform at the highest level. Those early challenges awakened a question in me:
“How can fighters cut weight safely without sacrificing performance?”
That question changed everything.
Driven by the need to find real, sustainable solutions, I decided to study nutrition at the Pontificia Universidad Javieriana. Later, I specialized at the University of Barcelona, where I worked with research groups and published scientific studies in European medical journals.
This journey gave me something invaluable:
an evidence-based, scientific approach to building personalized nutrition plans that truly work.
Not generic advice.
Not extreme restrictions.
But real science for real athletes.
As a competitive boxer, I represented Bogotá and became a national champion, training with some of Colombia’s top athletes. This firsthand experience at the high-performance level allowed me to deeply understand:
the mental pressure of competition
the physical stress of training camps
the real difficulty behind weight cuts
and the emotional roller-coaster athletes go through
It wasn’t theory—I lived it.
And it became the foundation of my mission.
After gaining clinical experience in Colombia, I moved to Spain to pursue a master’s degree. There, I expanded my understanding of physiology, metabolism, and sports performance while contributing to scientific publications.
This step opened the doors to a broader vision:
nutrition as a powerful tool to transform not just performance, but lives..
I currently live in Austria, where I continue refining my methods, staying updated with the latest research, and coaching athletes and clients from around the world.
